About the Author

Danielle Taylor was born and raised in the small mountain community of Running Springs, California and now resides in the beautiful North County of San Diego, California. She graduated from Rim of the World High School with a diploma of honors where she continued on to attend both California State University, San Marcos and Palomar University. She is currently working on her Associates Degree in Mathematics and Science and her certificate in broadcast journalism. She is employed as a tutor and office manager for a tutoring company located in San Marcos, California. She has a deep passion for reading, writing, and all things related. She also has a thirst for activism and has been a member of many non profit organizations including; Nine years with Rebuilding Together Day (fka Christmas in April), No H8 Campaign, Baja Animal Sanctuary, SD Coast Keeper, ILACSD, A Day without a Bag, tens years with World Wildlife Fund, Oceana, etc. She has taken part in countless coastal clean up days and still continues to believe that the best form of activism is simply being active. She is also a four year member of the Registrar of Voters volunteers at the state and country wide elections. She is currently going to school and writing for The Telescope newspaper thanks to the Follet Higher Education Scholarship, Frederick Speers Memorial Scholarship, and the Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead Scholarship. She has won recognition for her accomplishments through the following; National Honor Roll, Alpenhorn News for publishing many of her letters, The Rotary Club of Crestline for her winning essay on integrity, and so on. Danielle thanks her mother Tina Taylor and her boyfriend Lewis Nottke for their constant support in her endeavors.
